Talk Live With Someone You Disagree With

We live in a polarized society. Many of us talk only to people who agree with us on a variety of major facts about the world. But we know other views are out there.

Perhaps our democracy would be better off if more people got to know others who saw the facts of the world differently, and argued (politely) about an issue of political disagreement. This service aims to match people for one-on-one video chats on major policy issues in which key facts are in dispute.

Topic 1: Global Warming

Participants will talk to each other in a Google Hangout video chat for about 30 minutes. Once you have registered, you will be sent a detailed e-mail with instructions and suggestions for managing the debate.
